8th Annual Tropical Plant Fair

Wilton Manors, FL – Equality Garden Club (EGC) is pleased to announce the 8th annual “A Tropical Plant Fair”. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 28th (9AM–4:30PM) and 29th (10AM–3:30PM) for the 2 day outdoor event that is located in the beautiful nature preserve grounds of Richardson Park, along the scenic banks of the Middle River, in downtown Wilton Manors, FL. Now in its 8th year, the Fair has a list of over 70+ vendors.

The vendors will be offering a rich variety of plants, including aroids, (air plants, bromeliads, cycads, heliconias, hoyas, orchids, palms, tropical fruits, bonsai), and more. Additionally, there will be vendors selling, art, and accessories, and essentials for the gardener.

There will be a silent auction with plant related items as well as other merchandise from local merchants.

Shuttle services will also be available from City Hall and Fort Lauderdale High School parking lots to the Park for all attendees,

Proceeds from the event will help fund community service projects in Broward County sponsored by the Garden Club.

Admission is $5 for the two (2) day pass to help defray fair costs.

SPECIAL NOTE: Since Richardson Park is a protected wildlife sanctuary with fox, ducks and other small wild animals, no dogs are allowed, only service animals with accompanying paperwork are permitted.

The club meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilton Manors Hagan Park Community Center, providing world-class speakers to educate and entertain the membership. Additionally the club host’s the popular annual Tropical Plant Fair in March at Richardson Park, in Wilton Manors.
